We set sail on the Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas on January 15, 2023. Overall, we were very impressed. It’s a terrific ship with wonderful entertainment, good food, and a friendly, helpful crew. In this video, I share my honest review of our experience:
Cabin: 9
Shower and bathroom were a little small.
Casual Dining: 8.5
The buffet gets very crowded. It'd be nice if the hamburger / hot dogs were out by the pool versus having to go into the buffet.
Sit Down Dining: 9
The Main Dining room was great. We like the new menus. It reminds us of cruising decades ago with the themed nights. Tip: Make reservations in advance via the App.
Specialty Dining: 9
Hooked Seafood, the Mason Jar and Chef's Table were fantastic. 150 Central Park didn't love up to the hype. Service was less attentive than the Main Dining Room. The scallop appetizer tasted like the scallops had freezer burn.
Entertainment: 9.5
There is so much to do on the this ship. It's incredible. The Aquatheater, ice skating show, and Effectors are must see. I could skip Voices and Tap Factory. Use the App to make reservations and mark things you'd like to do.
Service: 9
The crew was friendly and helpful. Our experience at 150 Central Park brought it down from a 10.
Value: 8.5
Royal Caribbean prices bit higher than the other lines. I think if we were using the Flow Rider, the zip line, the kids' clubs, and the rock climbing wall, I'd rate it higher.
Overall: 9/10
