If you're dreaming of cruising to Cabo, Japan, or Singapore, the Ovation of the Seas by Royal Caribbean may already be on your radar. This Quantum Class ship holds nearly 5,000 guests and packs in a wide range of activities, dining, and family-friendly fun. Here’s what to know before you book:
🛏️ Cabins: Roomy with Smart Storage
The standard balcony cabin on Deck 6 was comfortable and offered decent bathroom space. The shower was slightly larger than usual, and though the sink was small, storage made up for it. The closets are freestanding, and bedside outlets are CPAP-friendly. If you're sailing on a shorter itinerary, you'll likely find the space just right.
Note: This particular cabin had an obstructed view, so check deck plans carefully before booking.
🍽️ Dining: Included Options Shine
Complimentary dining includes:
Windjammer Buffet (open all day)
Sorrento’s Pizza (late-night favorite)
Cafe @ 270 (healthy options)
Solarium Bistro (less crowded, near Solarium)
Main Dining Rooms (Silk, Chic, American Icon Grill & Grande)

Kids will love the splash park, bumper cars, and arcade. Supervised programs for kids, tweens, and teens are well-organized. There’s even an enclosed pool so you can swim rain or shine.
