Regal Princess Sanctuary Review - Is it Worth It?
Spoiler: The answer is not a resounding yes.
Hello!
We recently took an eight night Caribbean cruise on the Regal Princess. As you likely know, my husband and I sail all the major cruise lines. I think each one has something special about it. I made a short video on the food, entertainment, and amenities I look forward to when I am taking a Princess cruise.
As I said in the video, Princess delivered all my favorites yet again. If you scroll down in the email, you’ll find a full ship and cabin tour is you want to learn more about the Regal Princess.
The main focus of today’s email is the Regal Princess Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a special area of the ship available for an extra charge. During our sailing, you could reserve a chaise lounger for $40 per person per day for a full day or $20 per person per day for a half. Cabanas were also available for $220 for a full day or $140 for a half day without the mini bar.
I help my clients weigh the pros and cons of these types of upgrades. It’s really important to navigate the question – will this be worth it? After four days in the Sanctuary, I had an answer:
For all upgrades, I think the best question is will I use the perks? As I discussed in the video, the Sanctuary would absolutely not be worth it if you wanted to spend all at the pool.
What do you think? Would upgraded to the Sanctuary be worth it to you?
If it depends on what else the ship has to offer, I invite you to join me on this walkthrough of the Regal Princess:
