Is Coco Beach Club Worth it?

A review of the extra charge beach club on Royal Caribbean's Private island

Royal Caribbean has a private island experience in the Bahamas called Perfect Day at CocoCay. On the island is an exclusive beach club called Coco Beach Club. You can pay extra to purchase a pass to the Beach Club or reserve a cabana.

The Beach Club has an exclusive infinity edge pool, beach area, restaurant, and bar. Pool floats are included.

I think it is important to mention you can have a terrific day at CocoCay without purchasing a pass to the beach club.

If you want a pool, the center of the island has a huge pool with a swim up pool and a DJ for a fun pool party. Your drinks package works on the island.

If you want beach, the island has several beach areas with lounge chairs and some shade included.

If you want lunch, you can visit the snack shacks for a great chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks or head to the outdoor buffet.

I don’t think the Coco Beach Club is an absolute must do. I do think it’s worth the price for what you get: extra space, great service, a specialty dining experience, and the infinity edge pool.
