Is an Excel Suite on Carnival Jubilee worth it?
Including a full ship tour of the Carnival Jubilee
We sailed on the Carnival Jubilee from Galveston in April. This is the newest Carnival ship. We booked a forward facing Excel Corner Suite to check out the suite life on Jubilee.
First, join me on a ship tour:
Carnival Jubilee highlights my two favorite things about sailing on Carnival:
Excellent variety of dining options. You could have sit down a la carte dining in Main Dining Room, Chi Bang, Cucina del Capitano, or Pig and Anchor included. For lunch on a Sea Day, you can choose from the buffet, Main Dining Room, Chi Bang, Cucina del Capitano, Pig and Anchor, Guy’s Burgers, Blue Iguana tacos or burritos, Pizza, Sandwiches, or a great salad bar in the Serenity area.
Lots of activities. For evening entertainment, you have two theaters, two comedy clubs, live music at two or three lounges, a nightclub, plus an special deck party events.
We enjoyed the ship, but what did we think of the Excel Corner Suite?
The bottom line is that I wouldn’t book this exact Excel Corner Suite again because I like a bigger balcony with the option to see the ocean while seated. I did love the extra space and found it so comfortable. I think the included room service was a great touch especially since it can be delivered to different locations on the ship.
What do you think? Does the Excel suite offer enough amenities?
