One common question for cruisers is: Can I bring alcohol onboard? Can I bring soda or water onboard?
These are the policies today. They are subject to change. I included the links to the cruise line webpage that includes the latest policy. Just click on the name of the cruise line.
Non-alcoholic Beverages - You can only bring up to 6 liters of water in cans or cartons. No other beverages allowed.
Alcoholic Beverages - A guest is allowed to bring as many 750 ml bottles (or less) of wine onboard as they can carry on. It cannot be in checked baggage. When you clear security, the guest is directed to a table where they will be charged $20 USD per bottle of wine.
Non-alcoholic Beverages - Guests may bring twelve 12-ounce cans or cartons on embarkation day only. This must be in the guests carry-on. This can be soda, seltzer, energy drink, juice, water or any other non-alcoholic beverage that meets the can/carton requirement. Bottled non-alcoholic beverages are not allowed. This includes bottled water.
Alcoholic Beverages - Each adult of drinking age (21+) can bring one 750 ml bottle of wine on embarkation day in carryon only. No other amounts are allowed. A corkage fee will be applied if the guest wants to consume the wine in one of the dining rooms, specialty restaurants or bars.
Non-alcoholic Beverages - Each guest can bring on up to twelve cans of non-alcoholic beverages in carryon only. This can be in cans, bottles or cartons.
Alcoholic Beverages - Each stateroom can bring up to two 750 ml bottles of wine as long as at least one person in the stateroom is of legal drinking age. A corkage fee will apply if the guest wants to enjoy that bottle in a main dining room or bar.
Non-alcoholic Beverages - Not Allowed.
Alcoholic Beverages - Each guest of legal drinking age can bring up to two 750 ml bottles of wine onboard on embarkation day only in their carry-on. An unspecified corkage fee will be applied unless the guest has the Classic or Premium Beverage Package.
Non-alcoholic Beverages - These are not allowed to be brought onboard in any quantity.
Alcoholic Beverages - Guests may only bring wine onboard. A corkage fee of $15 USD per 750 ml bottle and $30 per 1500 ml bottle will be applied unless the guest has a beverage package. This is collected at embarkation.
